Thinking...

Found out certain things last night that really made me wonder.

Us boys.

We are intimidating. We are stuck up. We are assholes. We are the mean Asian kids.

I understand an outsiders point of view. Yes. Because we are such a large group, it is understandable that you may be intimidated to approach us.

I just want to make it clear that we have not changed regardless of how big our group or how quickly we have made friends this year.

From day one, when it was just us 5, we have always been the welcoming, accepting, friendly, happy 5 that will always give someone a chance. (Unless you wear rogue status with doc martins). So who are they to judge?

BUT. I do fall victim of hypocrisy. How ironic it is that i claim others to judge when they don't even know us, when at the same time I have refused to sit next to a guy because of the shirt he was wearing or shoes he was rocking. Is that not the same as one of them coming over and refusing to sit next to me?

I admit. Certain individuals in the "group" are individuals that I would have not thought I would develop such a close relationship in the beginning of the year.

But.

Each and every one of you brings a certain something to the table.
  • You Bring Your Individuality.
  • You Bring Your Personality.
  • You Bring YOU.
I love each and every one of you. After hearing those things yesterday, I am EXTREMELY happy that each and every one of you put your judgments aside and continued to make an effort. NEVER have a doubt in your mind that you are not "close enough" to the group. If you have EVER been with us, regardless of time...

...You are a part of my family.
